Entertainment / Video Games / Distribution Deal: A contractual arrangement between the creator of a game and a publisher. Getting a game developed and produced is a different thing from having it manufactured. And getting the manufactured game onto store shelves is yet another thing. A party who's good at making a game is not necessarily good at getting a game distributed. Thus deals are made with parties who are good at those other important aspects of the business. Pretty much the same thing as a 'publishing deal,' but not quite.
