The white wine has a herbaceous taste similar to that of its grape cousin, the Sauvignon Blanc, and is noted by some as reminding them of 'crushed blackberry leaves'. The wine is mostly used for blending purposes with its cousin's wine in order to give a unique varietal aroma and taste.
