Puck

Entertainment / Ice Hockey / Puck: The puck is made of vulcanized rubber, and is one inch thick and three inches in diameter and weighs between five and one-half ounces and six ounces. The rules committee must approve all pucks used in competition. The home team is responsible for providing an adequate supply of official pucks, which will be kept frozen. The pucks will be kept at the penalty bench under the supervision of one of the regular off-ice officials or a special attendant. We don?t want them getting loose.
