Profane Language

Entertainment / Ice Hockey / Profane Language: Players will not use obscene gestures on the ice, (sure they won?t) or anywhere in the rink before, during or after the game. We wonder how long after the game and does this count for the off-season? For violation of this rule, a game misconduct penalty shall be imposed by the referee and he will report the circumstances to the commissioner of the league for further disciplinary action. (uh-oh, now you?re in big trouble, maybe $100 dollar fine!) Players will also not use any profane language on the ice or anywhere in the rink before, during or after a game. (same questions as above) for violating this rule, a misconduct penalty will be given out, except when the violation occurs in the vicinity of the players' bench in which case a bench minor penalty shall be imposed?¶ right.
